Volkswagen Middle East announces new managerial appointments

Middle East announced new managerial appointments for its regional operations to further enhance its retail proposition. Guy Edmunds, currently serving as Dealer Development Director for Middle East since 2011, has been appointed to the role of Sales Director. With more than 25 years of automotive experience, Edmunds’ new role within Middle East will focus on the development of the brand’s sales strategy in order to achieve its regional growth targets for 2018.

Taking up the reins of Edmunds’ former role, Boriana Savatova-Ince has been appointed Dealer Development Director with over 15 years of automotive experience. In her new role, she will manage and further develop the retail network with a core focus on people, premises and processes.

Thomas Milz, Managing Director of Volkswagen Middle East said, “With 35 years’ automotive experience combined and a track record of success, we have a strong team in place to further drive our growth strategy in the Middle East. Through on-going development of our retail and sales proposition, we are on track to achieving our objectives as we seek to become the region’s most innovative volume manufacturer by 2018.” Milz concluded.

The appointments come at an exciting time for Volkswagen Middle East, who recently announced record-breaking retail network growth with the opening of six world-class showrooms and a series of state-of-the-art service facilities, as well as major enhancements to the existing network.
