Ramadan offers 2009

With the Holy Month of Ramadan on us once again, there are plenty of special offers in the region’s automotive industry. It’s a good chance to catch a bargain, which is always appreciated in these difficult financial times.

BAHRAIN

National Motors Company has several Ramadan offers on Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac and Hummer. 

The company has discounted the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, Tahoe and Traverse as well as the GMC Envoy, Acadia and Yukon. There are also deals on the Cadillac CTS and the Hummer H3. The CTS can be bought for BD 12,900, or monthly installments of BD 199. The H3 is available for BD 10,990 or amonthly installment of BD 167.

NMC promises to arrange flexible financing solutions and quick loan approvals, as well as generous trade-in offers for customers’ current vehicles.

QATAR

Mitsubishi dealers Qatar Automobiles Company has teamed up with Doha Bank to offer what it says are unbeatable deals – low prices and low interest rates together with easy finance, vouchers and giveaways. QAC is being rather vague on what exactly these deals comprise, but we’ll update this story with more information when we get it.

SAUDI ARABIA

Chevrolet and GMC dealers Al Jomaih Automotive, Balubaid Automotive, Abdullatif Alissa Automotive and Universal Motors are vouchers worth up to SAR 12,000 (depending on the vehicle purchased), redeemable towards the vehicle purchase price, service and maintenance or accessories.

Chevrolet is also giving fans the chance to win a new Chevrolet Traverse, worth SAR 115,000 as a part of its Fawazeer campaign. Log on to FawazeerChevrolet.com and answer as many of the daily fazzoura (riddles) as possible.

UAE

Trading Enterprises have several offers on Dodge vehicles. The Durango can be bought from 99,900AED with 18,600 worth of extras, whil the Charger costs from 84,900AED with up to 20,200AED worth of extras. Up to 16,800AED worth of extras are offererd with the 89,900AED Dodge Nitro, and the Avenger costs from 89,000AED and comes with a Ramadan package worth 18,000AED. Lastly, the Caliber costs from 67,900 and comes with a pacakage worth up to 16,600. The packages include free insurance, a five year manufacturer warranty and free 24-hour roadside assistance.

Al Majid Motors, dealers for Kia, are offering the chance to win an all expenses paid trip to the Autralian Open tennis finals. It is also offering the Sportage Sportspack 4x4 edition for 61,900AED, which includes leather seats, parking sensors, Bluetooth and tinted glass. Also on offer is the eight-seater Carnival minivan for 67,000AED and the Mohave SUV from 89,000. Financing details include no downpayment, 4.5% profit rate and up to 72 months of payments.

Al Nabooda Automobiles' Porsche Centre Dubai is offering zero percent interest over two years on new vehicles and up to 2.55 percent over five years. The offer includes a one year/30,000km service plan.

Volkswagen in Dubai, also run by Al Nabooda, is offering the Volkswagen Value Package on new vehicles, which comprisesa finance rate of 2.99 percent, free three year/60,000km servicing, free three year 24/7 roadside assist, free registration and three years unlimited mileage manufacturer warranty. 

Plenty to talk about at Volvo showrooms. The Swedish manufacture is offering Ramadan packages worth up to 16,555AED on the C30, 17,015AED on the S40, 12,085AED on the S60 and 24,200AED on the S80, as well as another package worth 21,650 on the XC90. In addition, customers can get free insurance for a year, free scheduled servicing for two years and a three-year unlimited mileage warranty, as well as a buy now, pay later option and a three months deferred payment scheme.

Al Futtaim Motors is offering all Lexus sedan customers a vehicle upgrade when they purchase. As an example, anyone buying a GS300 Premium Plus model will get the Luxury model for the same price. That upgrade adds 18-inch alloy wheels, satellite navigation, radar cruise control and a pre-crash safety system.
