Italian carmaker Maserati has confirmed that it is developing an all-new sports sedan to compete with the likes of the BMW M5 and the upcoming Audi A7.

Apart from being a performance sedan the new car will also be Maserati’s entry-level model with an expected price of $75,000 (275,478AED).

The new car will stay true to Maserati’s DNA and will blend flamboyant design with luxury and high performance. Maserati also confirmed that a replacement for the Quattroporte is also due in the near future and that the new car will be priced more competitively to boost sales.
