Zaran Tarapore on 2015 Hyundai Tucson | new car review Hi Freeda,
Hope you're well and are having a great day.
The Compact SUV segment you're looking into is definitely gaining popularity with some great offerings from various manufacturers. Below are the answers to your questions and also a few thoughts you may want to take note of.
1) While it may seem a bit steep for a Mazda, it is Japanese at the end of the day, meaning you're paying for a vehicle that is virtually bulletproof. Also, we personally haven't heard of any issues from Mazda owners, so it must be worth the money.
2) While the Tucson would be the obvious choice since getting the most features is at the top of your list, keep in mind that the Tucson is due for a major update. The new generation model is expected to hit our shores in the next year or so and I wouldn't want you stuck with the outdated shape.
3) If you've considered all that the competitors have to offer and are hellbent on choosing between only these three, then I'd recommend the Mazda CX-5. If you're open to a few suggestions, then I'd push you to stop by the Honda, Ford and Nissan showrooms to have a look at the CR-V, Escape and X-Trail respectively. They all fall into the same price bracket and offer innovative features that you'll love.
Also, you may want to look beyond just the stated price for the vehicle. Look into things like if a Service Contract is being offered, as that would significantly reduce your ownership costs and allow you to look into something that may seem a little out of your budget at first.
All the very best,
Zaran Tarapore on 2015 Ramadan Offers in the UAE Hi Suhail,
The CR-V, Accord and Camry are all quite different. While the Camry has been refreshed and brought to market as a 2016 model, it is just an aesthetic improvement for the most part. Your real focus will be on picking between the CR-V and the Accord. Having driven both, I can safely say they're both great cars. If it's comfort and luxury appointments you favour over practicality and space, then the Accord is your best bet.
Let us know what you finally settle for. Good luck!
Freeda on 2015 Hyundai Tucson | new car review Hi Zaran,
I am looking for a mid sized SUV in the range of AED90K with maximum features. The options I tried are Toyota Rav4 2015 mid range model priced around 95K, Mazda CX5 2016 mid range around 94K, full options 120K and Tucson 2015 full options for 85K.
Moreover I am also fascinated by features like electric seats, lane change indicators offered by Mazda in the top model. Just wanted to check: 1) if it is worth paying that money for Mazda. 2) i am very keen on Tucson but i felt a little engine noise on acceleration with 2.4 engine during the test drive. 3) Which one would be a better choice of the 3?
