British luxury car maker launches 2017 Flying Spur V8 S Black Edition — okay, so it’s not actually black, but it’ll do over 300km/h…

British Crewe-based luxury marque Bentley Motors has just revealed new plans in the form of the latest 2017 Flying Spur V8 S Black Edition which calls for lots of black, and some other colours.

The new Flying Spur V8 S Black Edition stands out with black details and a unique interior, although Bentley then does go on to explain  that you can also have the Black edition in white and with whatever interior you spec.

“Of course,” Bentley says, “Should customers wish for a different aesthetic, the interior can be specified with a full range of interior colours and colour splits.”

What doesn’t change is the Flying Spur V8 S’ 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, which still develops a healthy 521 horsepower and 680Nm of torque. A reminder, the base Flying Spur V8 comes with 500 horsepower, and the flagship V12 S develops 626 horsepower and 820Nm of torque.

In the new Black Edition, the car is defined by touches such as dark tinted lights, gloss black accents instead of chrome, and uniquely designed wheels amongst other changes. The door mirrors and window surrounds, too, are gloss black and if you stick to the Black Edition interior, you get piano black veneer as standard and single tone leather with contrasting stitching.

Additionally the V8 S Black Edition does the ton in 4.9 seconds and goes on to a top speed of 306km/h, because autobahn gentlemen’s agreements are for oafs.
