All-New Jaguar XF to be revealed ahead of New York debut
The XF has been the most awarded model in the brand’s lineup and to welcome the second generation model in London on 24th March 2015, Jaguar teams up with British stuntman Jim Dowdall to perform a world first that will have bystanders and international viewers in awe.
The new Jaguar XF is reworked from the ground up and will be the second Jaguar model to use the brand’s advanced aluminium-intensive architecture. In the shots that have been released thus far, an evolutionary process is evident – one that’s retained the hood creases, fast roofline, and the short rear deck of its predecessor. As far as bragging rights go, the Britton will also set benchmarks for weight and efficiency in its class.
Making its first appearance ahead of the New York Motor Show, the XF is set to perform the world’s first high-wire water crossing across two 34mm-diameter wires. The purpose is simple: to highlight the lightweight and agile credentials of the new XF.
Those who wish to catch the action live, can head on over to jaguar.com/newxf at 23:00 (GMT+4) on 24th March 2015. Technical details will only be released after its global debut on 1st April at the New York Motor Show, but for now, we do know that the XF will be built at Jaguar Land Rover’s Castle Bromwich plant.
