Maserati at the 2015 North American International Auto Show
Having sold nearly 36,500 vehicles worldwide (a figure that represents a healthy 136% increase compared to 2013) in 2014, the Italians made an appearance at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, and as expected, it was carried out with an aura of flamboyance. Alongside the Maserati Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna Concept, sat the stunning Alfieri 2+2 concept and the all-wheel-drive 2015 Maserati Quattroporte S Q4.
The Maserati Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna Concept is the natural evolution of the partnership between the two historic Italian brands following the launch of the Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition. Giving renewed life to a current product, the Maserati Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna Concept features an exclusive new colour, Azzurro Astro, and 20” wheels in a colour developed ad hoc.
The Alfieri 2+2 on the other hand was created to celebrate the Maserati Centennial and gives an insight into future design trends. Revealing a sportier nature than the current GranTurismo model, Maserati has confirmed that the Alfieri coupe will be introduced in 2016, with an Alfieri convertible to follow thereafter.
Finally, the Quattroporte S Q4 was the only production model to make it on stage and featured a wider selection of product enhancements including new exterior colours, added content and trim options.
