Review Summary:

The Attrage is a subcompact car from the Japanese brand that was incubated barely a year ago. Manufactured in Thailand, the Attrage takes on a new identity in a few markets of the world and goes by the name Mitubishi Mirage G4. Rivals to the Attrage are the dull Nissan Sunny and overpriced Honda City.

Cons

External appearance

Looks

In essence, the Attrage is the brand’s Mirage hatchback that has been made more practical with the help of a boot. Sadly, in the process, the delightful looks of the modest hatchback have been lost completely. The hexagonal grille up front and dominant contour along the sides are a neat touch, but not enough to make the Attrage stand out.

Feels

Unchanged from its hatchback sibling, the Attrage is rather simple on the inside with the flashiest thing being a piano black finish to the centre console. Though hard plastic comprises a large part of the cabin, it isn’t tasteless, infact it’s quite nice for a car that costs just AED 40,000.

Engineering

An extremely tight turning radius, one of the smallest in its class, makes the Attrage easy to maneuver through narrow city streets and crowded parking lots. Drivers of every experience level will find the new Attrage an absolute breeze to handle.

What’s on offer?

Powered by a 1.2 litre 3 cylinder engine, the 2014 Mitsubishi Attrage transmits 78 horsepower to the road that helps it reach a 100 km/h from standstill, in a reasonable 14 seconds. Boasting a top speed of just 170 km/h, it clearly doesn’t encourage boy race antics, but sipping just 4.8 litres of fuel for every 100 kilometers, it is mighty economical!

Summing it…

The 2014 Mitsubishi Attrage may not be the best looking sedan out of the bunch, but when you see the price difference between the competition, you forgive it for its shortcomings. Not only is the Attrage AED 2,000 less than the Nissan Sunny, but a whopping AED 17,000 cheaper than the Honda City.

its been 6 months since I bought my attrage 2014 and It feels good at all no major problem happened. but the air condition is not that good during summer here in Qatar. its surprising me about the low fuel consumption, its a great car but the appearance is not that good compare to other sedan car…

all in all I am happy with my Mitsubishi attrage 2014(“,)

It is a Good Car , But it is very light on the highways especially when I am alone .

May the Newer versions can Fix this lightness as the car shakes strongly when a speedy car or a lorry pass by.

But In general it is good .. and it does not stand-out on the road.

    Thanks

it’s named as mirage g4 in the philippines..I drove my mirage gls sedan on the uphills and steep roads of antipolo..a more elevated area near manila..with 7 persons inside(2 people at the front and 4 adults with a small child at the back) but i didn’t encounter any problem..the power is still there..but what surprises me most is the low fuel consumption..

I have been using Attrage for 10 months. No major problem. Plus, at Malaysia, we got 1 year free service. The only problem is about pad brake noise sound at early morning. Overall, it worth to buy and FC is very awesome 🙂

The Attrage key has very poor quality… When I approach the service center, they have admitted Attrage had this complain from most of the Mirage & Attrage owners!!!

Now I’m cancelling the s500 and the Ferrari. That book on minimalism is saving me a packet and making life easier and happier. True, no kidding.

This car is very worthy because of its price and most important its Fuel Economy factor(4.8 liters of fuel for 100 kilometers). This car is a hit in every country except GCC market (because in GCC fuel is very cheap and people feel shy to buy fuel economic vehicles).
