Rolls-Royce launches world-class aftersales facility in Dubai
It was at a rather glam event on Thursday afternoon that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars launched one of the world’s most advanced Aftersales Centres in Dubai. Amongst the crowd were Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd; Geoffrey Briscoe, Regional Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Middle East, Africa and Latin America and Stathis I. Stathis, Managing Director, AGMC.
During a short press conference and before the workshop tour began, Torsten Müller-Ötvös said “the Middle East is a very important region for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars representing our biggest growth market last year, and almost 20% of our global volumes. Dubai has been a big part of that success”.
An investment in excess of $5 million by AGMC – the authorized dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates – is the financial backing behind the dedicated 5,000 sq ft facility located on Sheikh Zayed Road. Starting from its open plan, minimalistic and transparent design, the facility mimics the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England, and allows its clientele to view their car’s service with a full yet unique perspective, through glass mirrored walls, as they relax in the lounge.
On the workshop floor, each vehicle is cared for with the most advanced tools and diagnostic equipment featuring direct support uplink to the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood. With extreme attention to detail, the pristine workshop houses concealed jacks and tool cases, allowing for a clean and pristine look and feel. Located beside the Rolls-Royce showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, the all new service facility is open from 8 am to 6 pm.
