2014 Honda Civic Coupe coming to the Middle East?

At the recently held Specialty Equipment Market Association () show in Las Vegas, unveiled the refreshed Civic Coupe. Thanks to a modified grille, hood, front fenders and headlamps, the 2014 Civic Coupe is a lot more aggressive to say the least. While the regular Civic Coupe receives a range of cosmetic upgrades, the Civic Coupe Si lands majority of its upgrades under the hood.

Judging from past years, the 2014 Coupe is unlikely to arrive in Middle Eastern markets however the pictures do allow us to visualize what the upcoming Civic to our markets is expected to look like. Though we do like the lower mesh grille, we’re not so sure about the large gray panel running between the headlights.

The more serious, enthusiast loved Civic Coupe Si sports a unique lower front bumper garnish, larger rear decklid spoiler, a distinctive front spoiler and sporty rear air diffuser. With an improved exhaust system, the Civic Coupe Si produces 4 more horsepower and 5 Nm of torque compared to the standard Coupe. With horsepower and torque figures of 205 and 236 respectively, the 2014 Honda Civic Coupe Si is expected to hit the tonne in 6 seconds flat.

If Honda are able to get the pricing right, the Civic Coupe looks like a promising car to pitch against the Korean Hyundai Elantra Coupe and Kia Cerato Koup that are seen on the streets of the U.A.E.
