Pictures of the Macan being tested in parts of Germany and even on the roads of Dubai have been circulating the web. Though the pictures show the Macan under minimalistic camouflage, the hidden tail light and rear window are enough to get people hyped. Before its launch at the LA Auto Show on 22nd November, a new set of shots have made their way on the web.

The borrows a decent amount from its bigger brother, the Cayenne, as far as visuals are concerned. A new wider grille, sloping roof line and quad LED headlights are all visible. The presence of the rear spoiler and lower ground clearance contribute to a much lower and sportier stance than the Cayenne.  Though interior shots haven’t been captured, it could be safe to assume that components would be carried over from the Cayenne.

According to a dealer meeting held in the United States, the Macan S is likely to receive a 3.0 litre V6, while the Macan Turbo is likely to benefit from a beefier 3.6 litre V6. Both engines are likely to pack in between 295 – 395 galloping horses.  Lower spec variants are expected to be fitted with detuned versions of the aforementioned engines. As far as prices are concerned, the Macan is expected to cost between AED 190,000 and AED 275,000.
