Lexus concept set for reveal at Frankfurt show
The release by Toyota of a shadow-filled teaser image depicting a new Lexus concept vehicle destined for the Frankfurt motor show will have seen automotive photo-editors the world over firing up Photoshop.
Alas, unlike the Toyota Hybrid-R concept image, which with a bit of tweaking was shown to be based on the Yaris, this picture gives little away when manipulated. However, we have done our best to reveal a little more detail than the original image shows.
Scant, hardly just justice to the description of the concept in the accompanying press release, rather Toyota simply says that the car will be joined by the new full hybrid GS 300h saloon, presented for the first time in Europe ahead of its introduction to this market towards the end of the year.
Designed to compete with the German premium marques in the executive car market, Toyota say the GS 300h combines low emissions and high fuel efficiency with refined, comfortable performance and low ownership costs.
