Radical, the British manufacturer of ultra-quick, road-legal track cars will be attending the Salon Privé event in London this September and displaying for the first time its new Radical RXC.

The RXC is Radical’s first ever enclosed car and marks a new step in the development of the marque, by bringing genuine Le Mans engineering and aerodynamics to the road in a package that delivers race car levels of performance whilst remaining easy to own.

The V6 engine and seven-speed gearbox configuration has been developed specifically for the RXC under the guidance of Radical’s MD Phil Abbott and Chief Designer Nick Walford and his development team.

The engine is a 3.7-litre 24-valve V6 unit with twin-independent variable cam timing and sequential multi-port electronic injection, controlled by a bespoke Radical/AER Life engine management system as employed successfully on the SR3 SL roadster.

The exterior features unique gullwing doors, part of the most complex body that Radical has ever produced and incorporates both composite and carbon fibre sections.

If you are planning to be in the UK at the time, tickets for Salon Privé can be purchased at www.salonprivelondon.com or by calling the Ticket Hotline on +44 (0)808 100 2205.  Entry is fully inclusive of Pommery champagne, lobster luncheon, English afternoon tea and full access to all areas.

The Radical RXC will be equally at home driving to the office or tearing round the track
