Global debut of Jaguar XJR at 2013 New York International Auto Show
It will be a global debut for Jaguar XJR at the 2013 New York International Automobile Show that will run from March 29th till April 7th, 2013 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, United States.
Here’s a sneak-peak into what Jaguar has to offer in the new XJR.
Jaguar aims to expand its R-performance line-up with the launch of the Jaguar XJR. It is powered with a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine that churns out 550 PS. The British car maker claims the Jaguar XJR to be the dynamic flagship of the XJ series.
Features to look forward to are the bespoke chassis and enhanced developments in the aerodynamics sector.
According to Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director, Jaguar: “The new XJR epitomises the three pillars of technology, performance and contemporary design which the Jaguar brand stands for in the twenty-first century, while delivering new levels of dynamic ability in a luxury saloon.”
Jaguar XJR will be displayed along with the Jaguar line-up that includes the all-wheel drive XF and XJ sedans and the F-Type sports car. Jaguar fans will have to wait a few more days till the New York International Auto Show begins on March 29th to explore the Jaguar XJR further.
