The new Peugeot 2008 | 2013 Geneva Motor Show

It was world premiere for 2008 at the 2013 . The compact crossover builds on the success of the popular Peugeot 208 supermini. Peugeot claims the 2008 to be a truly global car as it addresses the increasing demands of customers all over the world.


is mostly aimed at young adults who not only enjoy the urban environment but also love escaping from it in a vehicle that is strong and also stylish.

Peugeot 2008 is available with an array of fuel efficient engines, with fuel economy as high as 61.8 mpg and CO2 as low as 98 g/km. Listed below are the options that will be initially available with more additions later on.

Peugeot 2008 petrol range:

1.2-litre e-VTi 82bhp Stop&Start

1.2-litre VTi 82bhp

1.2-litre e-THP 110bhp Stop&Start

1.6-litre VTi 120bhp

1.2-litre e-THP 130bhp Stop&Start

Peugeot 2008 diesel range:

1.4-litre HDi FAP 68bhp

1.6-litre e-HDi FAP 92bhp

1.6-litre e-HDi FAP 92bhp

1.6-litre e-HDi FAP 115bhp

Peugeot 2008 combines the expertise and technology of two Peugeot vehicles including the Peugeot 3008 as well as the 208 supermini.


At 4.16 metres of length and 1.74 metres of width, the Peugeot 2008 is a robust SUV with ample space paired with comfort. The wheelbase measuring at 2.54 meters creates all the space for every occupant. There is no compromise on the design aspect either.

The floating grille of Peugeot 2008 is cut from a solid block and set upright to create a powerful and dominant design cue. The satin chrome finish to the air vents, handbrake lever, steering wheel, gear lever and touch-screen trims all add to Peugeot 2008’s premium interior.

Highlighting feature of the Peugeot 2008 is the Grip Control technology that optimizes traction in low-grip conditions. Park Assist is also available to the drivers of Peugeot 2008. Having the large seven-inch touch screen at your fingertips adds to your safety while driving. You can also minimize commands for control of the infotainment system to just focus on the road ahead.


You also have the option to accessorize with the Peugeot Connect Apps that will include traffic and parking information, tourist attractions and weather updates- to name a few. Loads of other styling options for both the exterior as well as the interior are also available.

Peugeot 2008  officially goes on sale later in the summer.

    Really looking forward to it’s release and I think it will give the Juke and Captur a real run for their money.

    The 208 is a great little car so using this as a base so almost guarantee the 2008 will be excellent as well.
