Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG World Premiere at the Geneva Motor Show
Posted on March 13, 2013 by News Editor
The 2013 Geneva Motor Show marks the world premiere of the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG hot hatch. With a maximum output of 265 kW (360 hp) and up to 450 Nm of torque, the AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine in this road rocket is the most powerful four-cylinder engine in the world.
Mercedes’ 4matic system has been revamped for the MFA platform that the A45 AMG sits on. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG can catapult from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 4.6 seconds. The car consumes barely 6.9-liters of fuel per 100 kilometres, thanks to the small but powerful 2.0 litre engine.
Like other cars in the Mercedes-Benz AMG stable, typical body mods and striking sporty accents are in place. Be it the eye catching twin blade radiator grille, the black flicks on the side cool-air openings, the two angular chrome tailpipes or the special silver paint, the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is guaranteed to attract eyeballs wherever it goes.
The German carmaker also unveiled the facelifted Mercedes Benz E-Class family at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
