2013 Lexus IS official pictures released

The first official pictures of the new generation 2013 Lexus IS have been released ahead of the car’s debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show. The new IS is inspired by Lexus’s LF-CC concept and prominently displays the signature spindle grille on its nose.

With a laid back cabin design, the 2013  IS looks more powerful. The new IS’s increased width and longer wheelbase will mean more space of people and their luggage.  The center console controls feature a Lexus first: electrostatic switches that need just a finger touch to adjust the air conditioning temperature. Lexus will also be offering the F Sport variant of the IS.

There is no word on the official launch of the 2013 Lexus IS in the Middle East region as yet, but we expect the new IS to be available in the showrooms across the region within first half of the year. Here are some pics:
