World premiere of the new Renault Clio 4 at 2012 Paris Motor Show
Renault Clio 4 launch at the 2012 Paris Motor Show is not just about the launch of a new car; it is about a new design identity for the French auto maker.
The 5 door hatchback is the first car from Renault stable to showcase smooth flowing designs in a coupe like silhouette. Lower and wider in track than the Renault Clio III, the new car benefits from better aerodynamics.
Lower stance, deeply racked windscreen and larger wheels that are pushed out give the Renault Clio 4 its dynamic appearance. The new Clio comes with a personalization program that allows buyers to choose the interior and exterior look of their Clio over and above the configuration options offered as by Renault. We at AutoMiddleEast.com have not heard of any other volume car maker offering a high degree of personalization option on a small car. Could this be the beginning of a new trend?
In addition to the Clio 4, the new Renault Clio Estate is another significant reveal at the French car maker’s stand at 2012 Paris Motor Show. The newcomer shares the underpinnings of the hatchback but has its own distinct identity. New Clio Estate will start making its appearance in showrooms from the first quarter of 2013 (depending on the market).
