Infiniti LE Concept

LE Concept is nearly 80% production ready and is likely to hit the showrooms in 2014

Making its European debut at the 2012 , the Infiniti LE Concept is a dramatically styled compact luxury car. At around 4.7m long, this four door is similar in size to the Infiniti G sedan.

Largely based on bits from Nissan’s LEAF electric car, the Infiniti LE Concept is powered by a high performance electric motor that can deliver 100Kw and 325Nm torque. A 24 kWh Li-ion battery, same as Nissan LEAF, gives this electric car a range of 160km.

On the menu is a home based wireless charging system in addition to a standard plug in option. If adapted, Infiniti’s LE Concept would become the first production electric car to come with a wireless charging system.

Infiniti LE is set to be the first mass market luxury electric car when it goes on sale in 2014.

The Infiniti LE Concept is a ‘production intent’ concept and most of what you see will become a reality”, Bernard Loire, Vice President of Infiniti Europe, Middle East, India and Africa
