Based on the Tiida platform, the was introduced in the Middle East in 2011.

Juke is powered by a 1.6-liter engine with an optional turbo charger on higher variants. This engine develops 117bhp and 158Nm in its naturally aspirated state and 190bhp and 240Nm of torque with a turbocharger installed. This engine is paired with a continuous variable transmission (CVT) or a 6-speed manual transmission. The CVT gearbox comes with a manual shift option.

Electric front windows, 60:40 folding rear seats and CD player are standard while the higher kitted version will add front fog lamps, leather wrapped steering and cruise control as well. The Bluetooth integration allows for music streaming from your phone to the car’s speakers. Nissan offers a range of accessories including alloys wheels, under-body protectors, exhaust finishers, roof spoilers, illuminated door sills and seriously extroverts can opt for roof sticker and striping sets to set their Juke out from the crowd.

The top of the line SL variant get six airbags as standard equipment while the mid and the base level variant get front airbags only. ABS is part of standard equipment across the range.
