Bentley brings a surprise model to Goodwood this month

Posted on Jun 18, 2012 by

At the running from Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July, Bentley has announced that it will showcase an unnamed model. This is a surprise announcement as this could be Bentley’s second showcase in 2012 after the EXP 9F concept from the Geneva Motor Show.

Bentley is tight-lipped about the car but has described the model in the press release as one combining “stunning performance with exquisite luxury in the Bentley tradition.” The new car will be part of the Supercar run up the Goodwood Hill as well as a display at the Bentley stand.

Could Bentley break the tradition and showcase a sleek and sporty car? Isn’t the description a sort of a metaphor for one?

The mould was shattered with the unveiling of the EXP 9 F SUV concept, which will be shown again at Goodwood. The brand’s openness to change is obvious but can they stretch as far as developing a luxurious sports car?

Bentley is also putting on view a special edition of the Mulsanne christened Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification (MDS) – featuring a sports-tuned suspension and steering settings, redesigned 21-inch alloy wheels, and a Diamond Quilted interior.

We will keep our eyes and ears open for additional details on the surprise Bentley, so stay with AutoMiddleEast.com.
