2013 Ford F-150 revealed ahead of its year end launch

Ford Motor Company, months before the product’s market launch, has unveiled the 2013 F-150. The F-150 is America’s best selling line of pickup trucks and has been on the market since 1948.

Revised modestly, the 2013 Ford F150 sports a new grille, new wheels and HID headlights that comes as an option. Three new body shades have been included for 2013 which are Blue Jeans Metallic, Kodiak Brown Metallic and Ruby Red Clearcoat Metallic.

Serious changes are present on the F150’s interior with the inclusion of a revised instrument cluster (with a 4.2-inch LCD display), Ford’s SYNC connectivity system (on select variants) and the MyFord Touch infotainment system.

The upholstery has been updated and grain wood appliqués feature. Depending on the trim, interiors are lavished with Alcantara seat inserts, or Black or Pecan leather seating. Select models feature a media hub with twin USB ports, an SD card reader and audio/video input jacks.

2013  will offer four different engine choices for its American customers.

  • 3.7-liter V6 with 302bhp and 376Nm of torque
  • 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 365bhp and 569Nm of torque
  • 5.0-liter V8 with 360bhp
  • 6.2-liter V8 with 411bhp and 588Nm of torque

Every engine is mated to an electronic six-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul mode.
