The is the newest platform in ’s lineup. This premium urban shares it’s platform with the Volkswagen Polo and goes head to head with the Mini and the Alfa Romeo MiTo.

The A1 is available in two trim levels, Attraction and Ambition. The Attraction line comes equipped with power-adjustable side mirrors, power windows and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. Standard passive safety features include two front airbags, side airbags and head airbags. Belt force limiters, the integral Audi headrest system and Isofix anchor points for child safety seats in the rear round out the program. It also has 15-inch alloy wheels.

The Ambition trim line comes with all the features in the Attraction variant and also includes 16-inch alloy wheels and the fog lights. The interior of the A1 Ambition features faux-aluminum accents, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and the driver information system. Its sport seats feature an easy-entry function and lumbar supports, and the passenger seat is also height-adjustable.

All A1 variants get the 1.4 TFSI engine and a 7-speed S tronic gearbox that powers the front wheels. The Attraction variant has an output of 122bhp and 200Nm of torque. The same engine in the Ambition variant gets a more dynamic state of tune and produces 185bhp and 250Nm of torque.

You can also have a host of optional features on the 2012 Audi A1 that include hill start assist, rear parking sensors, keyless ignition, S line sports suspension, etc.
