Nissan Patrol 60th Diamond Edition graces the Middle East
Nissan’s Middle Eastern operation has presented a special edition of the Patrol dubbed ‘Nissan Patrol 60th Diamond Edition’ commemorating the legendary brand’s 60th production year. The Patrol is a regular feature in the list of best selling cars here and has conquered every possible terrain that’s been thrown at it.
The limited edition model stands out with its exclusive “New Pearl Black” paint job that features reflective flecks to reflect pinpricks of light off the surface. The feeling of exclusivity is enhanced with a full chrome pack that has chrome plating to the door mirrors, rear bumper protector and kick plate. The fitment of the ’60th Diamond Edition’ emblems announces to the world the car’s unique nature.
Interiors are laid out similarly except for the embroidered leather front seats embedded with the Patrol logo and special floor mats. Except for the top-end variant, power for the Nissan Patrol 60th Diamond Edition is derived from a 5.6-liter V8 engine that generates 317bhp. It is coupled to a 7-speed automatic transmission.
The penultimate model offers features such as satellite navigation, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, 8-inch LCD display in the front and DVD system for rear passengers. The flagship LE trim, strapped with a 5.6-litre V8 engine generating 400bhp, driven via a 7-speed automatic transmission, on top of the aforementioned goodies, adds Advanced Safety Shield including Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, Intelligent Cruise Control with Distance Control Assist and Intelligent Brake Assist.
