2013 Ferrari California with Handling SpecialeIn the spotlight atthe 2012 will be the California with the “Handling Speciale” package. The production of which has already commenced.  Thanks to new aluminium fabrication techniques and construction technologies employed by the Scaglietti Centre of Excellence they have managed to shave off 30. There has also been a slight bump in power, 30kg and an increase in power output of 30 CV. The California’s GDI V8 now produces 490bhp and 505 Nm at 5,000 rpm, courtesy new exhaust manifolds and engine mapping. claim the new California races from 0 to100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The Handling Speciale package includes Magnetorheological dampers controlled by a lightning quick ECU patented software. The package also features stiffer springs for more precise body control and a more comfy ride. The California also benefits from faster turn-in with smaller steering wheel, the steering ration is 10 per cent quicker.
