2012 Toyota Aurion | new car review
The 2012 Toyota Aurion is a mid-sized sedan based on the Camry platofrm. Toyota differentiates between these two models by offering a bigger V6 engine in the Aurion. Underneath the skin the Aurion is very similar to the more familiar Camry but has a different, upmarket feel to it. The interior too has been crafted with an upmarket touch than the Camry.
The 2012 Toyota Aurion gets a 3.5L V6 VVT-i engine that produces 268bhp at 6200rpm. Maximum torque is rated at 336Nm at 4700rpm. It comes standard with a six CD in-dash audio system, Bluetooth connectivity for audio streaming, fully adjustable steering column, cruise control, electrically adjustable drivers seat and dual airbags. It also gets front and rear parking sensors, self-leveling halogen headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler and front fog lamps. Options list includes traction control, a multi information display, push-button ignition, ABS with brake assist, navigation system, leather seats and a reversing camera.
