    Dear DJ,

In response to your mail, though I’m not using Accord 2012 and I’m driving Accord 2005 for years now and till date, I did not experience any problem with it and for sure it will not happened in Accord 2012 for the much advance features of it. Its a very reliable piece of machine and it won’t let you down in any type of driving you want. Its features really works and fuel efficient too. In terms of service, i used to send my car in Honda Service Centre. The service is very good and the service advisor will tell you exactly what needs to be done on your machine during service. If you feel that you are under budget for servicing, the advisor will tell you you that you can still run your machine for X no. of kilometres and the next service that it should be replaced of whatever parts needs to be replaced to keep it in good running condition.

The spare parts is bit expensive than Toyota Camry (as I heard about it) however, in terms of spare parts quality, it will take years to replace it again. Like my Accord 2005, very few spare parts replaced till date except for consumable items that is a normal wear and tear in every vehicle that needs to be replace.

It was indeed my first choice to get Toyota Camry and I changed my mind to Honda Accord and I did not regret choosing it as it is a very good piece of machine for me I believe as I tried it for years now. The resale value of Honda Accord is almost the same with Toyota Camry and honestly speaking my car want to purchase from me at the amount of 25K but I did not let it go.

    Just to share my thoughts.

Accord 2012 and Camry 2012 are very close competitors. Accord currently is shipped from US while Camary from Japan. Please share your experiences about service and spares of Honda and Toyota in UAE. Accord has bit more features even in basic model while Camry is perceived to have better resale value.
