100,000th Porsche Cayenne rolls out of the Leipzig plant

2012 Porsche Cayenne SThe 100,000th Cayenne rolled off production line at the Leipzig plant. The SUV will be shipped to a customer in Brazil, whose choice of colour was “pure white” and engine was that of the Cayenne S i.e. the 4.8-litre V8 engine. 2012 happens to be the 10th anniversary year of ’s Leipzig plant and this is a production milestone of sorts. Leipzig is also where produces the Panamera luxury saloon, of which 70,000 units of which have now rolled off the production line. In 2011 93,800 vehicles left the plant, beating every year in it’s past.
