2013 Lexus LX570 | 2012 Detroit Motor Show
Lexus has launched a face lifted LX 570 at the 2012 Detroit motor show. This upgrade sports the new Lexus ‘spindle’ grille that is now becoming a standard style statement across the brand. Furthermore, the LX570 sports cosmetic and interior trim upgrades while the powertrain remains the same 5.7-litre V8 as in the outgoing model.
Exterior upgrades include LED daytime running lights and larger fog lamp bezels. Tail lamps are also updated. The front and rear bumpers have also received a new treatment and the rear bumper protector gets a stainless steel accent.
On the inside, the driver’s seat gets a new easy access system, which makes the steering wheel and driver’s seat automatically retract when the ignition is turned off. The instrument panel has been updated and a new color display has been added. The centre instrument cluster and the front air vents gets a dark chrome finish along with a chrome accent above the glove box. The cabin also gets mahogany wood trim with parchment replacing cashmere as an interior leather trim color.
