2012 Toyota AvensisThe all-new British-built has been given sharper styling, some extra equipment and much improved dynamism. It will be powered by a 124bhp Optimal Drive 2.0-litre D-4D turbodiesel engine. There has been a 14% improvement in fuel economy from an already frugal figure of 5.3l/100km to a 4.6l/100km, even CO2 emissions have dropped from 139 to 119g/km. The engine is 3kg lighter and is said to be less of a sound hound to the ears; it’s also tuned for more linear torque. 2012 Toyota AvensisBesides this there are 6 other power-plants available on the Avensis. The alloy wheels offered on the model range from 16” to 17” and even dark shaded 18” wheels. The car features Toyota Touch & Go plus Navigation system with 3D modeling of the city and landmarks. It also doubles as the screen for the rear view camera. The new Avensis made its world debut at the 2011 earlier this year and Toyota claim that overall, the car was designed to save you the extra buck.
