Vettel badged Infiniti FX goes into production

Double F1 World Champion Sebastian & Global Brand Ambassador Vettel helped design and engineer the low volume special, the first of many to come from . The concept is powered by a 414bhp 5.0-litre V8 that allows it to race to a 100km/h in 5.6 seconds and will do 300km/h if you find a stretch of tarmac long enough. The extra 30 horses comes courtesy of a new exhaust system and a reprogrammed engine ECU. Extensive use of carbon-fibre components has reflected in 46kg weight saving; it now weighs in at 2049kg. 2011 Infiniti FX 50 SV conceptThe vehicle is 20mm lower than standard FX 50S model and runs on 21” wheels. Dark smoke lights back and front, Vettel logos on both sides and at the rear complete the look on the outsides while the interiors receive shadow chrome and carbon detailing. For sure-footed braking the concept has 4-piston (front) and 2-piston (rear) calipers for the 355/350mm brake discs. Special seats, with extra support, are covered in black quilted suede cloth finished with purple stitching and special “SV” logos.
