VW Beetle R Concept | LA Auto Show 2011

2011 VW Beetle RConcept Beetle R made its debut yank style at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2011 with befitting chrome like 20” polished aluminium wheels. The R-badge on any of VW’s cars means more muscle, hence the front and rear bumpers are completely redesigned. They are now 30 mm wider and have 3 air intakes finished in black gloss; one to cool the radiator and the others for the brakes.  Additional engine cooling is provided by bonnet vents. Further distinguishing the Beetle R from its regular stable mate are black gloss door mirror caps and roof, and 15 mm wider side sills. The rear wings are also 15 mm wider than on the standard Beetle and the rear bumper houses a diffuser and quad exhaust pipes. Above this sits a dual tone rear spoiler. The wheels are five-spoke Talladega alloys, as on the Golf R and Scirocco R, and behind them are R-style blue-painted brake callipers.2011 VW Beetle R
