Chrysler 200 revealed
Chrysler has officially revealed the upcoming 200 sedan ahead of its launch later his year.
The Chrysler 200 is the Sebring’s replacement and is based on the latter while featuring improvements in powertrain, exterior and interior styling.
The front-wheel drive 2011 Chrysler 200 is powered by a choice of two petrol engines; a 2.4-litre four-cylinder base engine and a 3.6-litre V6 motor.
Both engines are mated to a dual clutch transmission but the 2.4-litre engine also comes with a four-speed automatic in the base trim version.
The car’s styling is inspired by the 200C EV Concept, especially from the front and rear, but underneath the 200 is near identical to the Sebring.
The car launches in the US by the end of 2010 and is expected to make its Middle East debut in the first half of 2011.
