Kia adds Cerato hatchback to the family

Kia has added a third body style to the Cerato family, which until now comprised of the sedan and two-door coupe.

The five-door Cerato hatchback will be added to the line-up in the Middle East by the end of the year.

Showcased earlier this year at the New York Motor Show, the Cerato hatchback is aimed at young buyers for whom affordability is of prime importance.

Apart from the new body style the Cerato hatchback features a new radiator grille, lower air-intake grille, door mirrors with LED turn indicators and fog lamps.

These modifications will feature on the 2011 Cerato sedan and coupe models as well. The Cerato hatchback’s technical specifications including engine and transmission options are the same as the sedan.
