French carmaker Peugeot has unveiled a new ‘urban ’ at its home motor show in Paris.

Dubbed the HR1 the hybrid concept is styled on the lines of Peugeot’s earlier SR1 concept. Crossover styling and unique gull wing doors are the concept’s primary design cues.

The HR1 being a hybrid uses a three-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol engine which is mated to a rear mounted electric motor. The powertrain produces a combined 147bhp.

The HR1 concept’s interior features modular seating and can be setup to seat two/three or four passengers. The car also boasts of a ‘movement recognition’ system which allows the driver to scroll through functions and choose settings with just movement of the hand.
