Ford reveals the updated 2011 Mondeo

The 2011 Ford Mondeo

Ford has unveiled the refreshed 2011 Mondeo ahead of the car’s debut at the Moscow Motor Show in August this year.

Apart from exterior and interior updates the new Mondeo also features mechanical improvements to keep it fresh and competitive.

Visually the 2011 Mondeo gets a reworked fascia thanks to new headlights, fog lights, bumper and grille which give the car a sharper look. At the rear there is a revised boot lid and new taillights.

Ford has also updated the interior with a new flow-through centre console design, revised door pads and a new central overhead console with ambient lighting.

In the UK the car gets a new turbo-charged 237bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine which is mated to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The 2011 model goes on sale in Europe this October we expect it to come to the Middle East during 2011.
