10th Sharjah Motor Show set for October

The Sharjah International Auto Show in 2008

The UAE’s Sharjah motor show takes place for the 10th time in October this year.

The emirate’s  bi-annual International Auto Show  will feature display stalls by leading manufacturers as well as interactive events like a 4×4 driving course and RC racer zone to keep visitors entertained.

For the tuning enthusiasts, the Middle East Motor Tuning Show 2010 will also run alongside the main show.

The show will also play host to the first Middle East Motor Awards 2010 which will be held on the inauguration day. A panel of judges from seven Middle East countries will pick out the winning vehicles across 10 categories.

A vintage car rally with classics from the Sharjah Classic Car Museum is also on the cards. The motor show is being backed by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Emirates Motor Sports Federation. More details are expected nearer to the date of the show.

The show takes place at the Expo Centre Sharjah between 14 and 18 October 2010.
