BMW teases the all-new 2011 X3

BMW will introduce an all-new 2011 X3 by the end of this year.

The new model’s development seems to be nearing completion if these teaser images from BMW are to be believed.

Aimed at improving the lacklustre sales of the current X3 the new model will feature improvements in key areas such as size, exterior design and performance.

The teaser images show an all-new bonnet and taillight but spy images of the SUV have revealed its larger dimensions and a more upright fascia with a larger kidney grille, new headlamps and bumper.

Another reason for BMW to increase the 2011 X3’s size was to make space for the X1 which is almost similar in dimension to the current X3.

More details are expected closer to the SUVs debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show in October.
