2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

The 612 Scaglietti is a grand tourer (GT) produced by since 2004.

The 2+2 is surprisingly roomy for a Ferrari and can comfortably seat four adults. It even has a decent sized boot that can swallow 240 litres of luggage.

Despite being one of the most practical and inconspicuous Supercar, the 2010  remains true to the prancing horse’s sporting heritage. It’s powered by a mighty 5.7-liter V12 engine, which cranks out 532 bhp and is mounted up front.

The power is channeled to the rear wheels via a six-speed F1-style automated manual with paddle shifters. Ferrari claims that despite the car’s near-two tonne weight it can sprint from 0 to 100 kph in about 4.2 seconds and a top speed of more than 310 kph.

For serious performance enthusiasts there is an optional HGTS package, which includes a quicker-shifting F1 gearbox, a sport exhaust and colored brake callipers. A HGTC package further adds carbon-ceramic disc brakes, unique alloy wheels and a chrome accent for the rear diffuser.

Being the second most expensive Ferrari, behind only the newer 599 GTB Fiorano, the 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti boasts of scintillating performance, a luxury interior and every-day usability. Standard equipment includes xenon headlights, 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels, an adaptive suspension system, “manettino” control knob and stop/start button on the steering wheel.

Also included is a power trunk, rear park assist, dual-zone climate control, power front seats, rich leather upholstery and a panoramic roof. There is even a Bose media system as standard and includes a central display screen, hard-drive-based navigation system and Bluetooth connectivity. The interior can further be customised according to the preference of the buyer.
