BMW X6 HybridBMW displayed two alongside a tribute to a motorsport legend, as well as several new models at the .

The ActiveHybrid technology was displayed in an X6 and a 7 Series. The system uses a petrol engine and a battery-powered electric motor to reduce fuel economy and polluting exhaust emissions by up to 15 percent compared to a standard car. BMW expects to have production versions of the cars available in the near future.

In addition, the stand hosted the BMW M1 Homage concept car for the first time in the Middle East.

And there were regional debuts for the X1 and 5 Series Gran Turismo models. The latter is a version of the 5 Series with the headroom of an X5 SUV and the length of a 7 Series, offering enhanced practicality and space compared to the standard 5 Series.
