Kia has revealed its new luxury sedan, the 2010 Cadenza, which will appear in the Middle East for the first time in December.

The Cadenza is all new and prides itself on being sporty and dynamic thanks to a 3.5-litre, 286bhp V6 engine, attached to a six speed manual gearbox.

The 2010 Cadenza replaces the 10-year-old Opirus and will make its Middle Eastern debut at the Riyadh Motor Show in Saudi Arabia on December 12, before heading to the UAE for the Dubai Motor Show on December 15.

The exterior design features LED headlights and rear lamps, with dual exhausts to complement the sporty appearance. Inside, the cabin is dominated by a ‘floating’ dashboard and a mood lighting strip that runs across the dash and around the door trims.

Other features on the front-wheel drive Cadenza include dual zone air conditioning keyless entry, keyless engine start and parking sensors. A full length, three-part panoramic roof will be available as an option.

Although the Cadenza is shorter than the outgoing Opirus, it has a longer wheelbase and a larger interior space, as well as reduced weight and improved performance.

Production starts this month in Korea with expert sales to the Middle East starting in March 2010. More details about Middle East specification will be announced nearer to release.
