Following the confirmation of the sale of to Chinese company Sichuan Tengzhong, General Motors has moved to alleviate any fears that existing owners and prospective buyers of the brand may have.

The Middle East has been and continues to be one of Hummer’s most promising markets and one that the company will want to focus on even after its sale to the Chinese firm.

In a statement, GM said Hummer dealers will continue to sell and service vehicles in the Middle East as usual and will entertain all warranty claims too. Spare parts for the H2, H3 and H3T will be readily available and the company’s leadership team in the region along with the dealer network will remain intact.
