Michael Schumacher has called off his comeback to F1 on grounds of injury during his superbike crash back in February. Coming as a major disappointment to Michael Schumacher fans who were expecting to see him race for Ferrari once more, it seems like the German legend has not healed completely from the fractures in his head and neck. The announcement was made on Tuesday during which his manager Willi Weber said “It (the crash in February) was the most serious accident in Michael’s motorsport career.”

Until now the details of Schumacher’s injuries were not known and thus it was being considered that he has healed completely and is fit to race at the highest level of motorsport once again. However the 40 year old racing star would have felt during testing that he is not up to the task. During the announcement Michael also hinted that 38 year old Italian Luca Badoer, a veteran Ferrari test driver could take Massa’s place in the coming season. At the same time speculators are suggesting that Alonso is making a move to Ferrari next year.
