, last year, has built even further on its tradition of luxury motor cars that are build to the very highest standards of technology and craftsmanship. Among innovations during the year have been the introduction of what the company claims to be the fastest chauffeur driven car in the world!

Powered by a 5.5 litre, twin-turbocharged V12 engine, a standard Maybach car can accelerate from 0-100 kph in just over five seconds. Its subtle two-tone colour schemes are matched from 17 different shades. It has an extensive array of luxurious features such as air suspension, speed-sensitive power steering and a system that maintains a set distance from the vehicle in front, accelerating and decelerating according to other vehicle’s behaviour.

The interior is a stylish living room richly furnished in leather and wood – and 10 airbags – with Grand Nappa leather seats power-adjustable via seven electric servos, adjustable air cushions and a massage function, refrigerator, high-resolution TV screens and an optional, panoramic sunroof with electrically adjustable transparency.

While the entry-level term associated with the 57 model seems a bit bizarre considering its price, it is possibly the correct one to use for this particular model. Both, the 57 and 62, are just the ticket for those who like their consumption to be conspicuous.
