2008 Infiniti G35 | new car review

The  badge represents a sports sedan and a sport sharing powerful, rear-wheel drive performance, all draped under sensuous, aerodynamic bodies. The G35 sedan’s most vibrant design feature is its long, wave-like hood, pushed back A-pillars and athletic stance. It is clean, simple and sexy.

With the athleticism portrayed by the sensual bodywork, it is no wonder that under the skin lurks a soul that injects dynamic performance
from its rear-wheel drive platform to take the fight to traditionally renowned German sports sedans. At the heart of its advanced drive train is its award-winning VQ 3.5-litre V6 engine and advanced FM (Front Mid-ship) platform.

The sedan is followed by the coupe version that builds on the pedigree of the award winning Nissan 350Z. In many ways, the coupe is a clone of the 350Z but is longer, has a trunk instead of a hatchback, and it has a rear seat that can be used to transport the smaller members of the family.

Among the key enhancements to the second-generation G Coupe is a larger, more powerful 3.7-litre V6 engine making 350 hp along with 324 Nm, available advanced 4-wheel active steer system, a dramatic new exterior design and a refined interior with intuitive, integrated
technology. A five-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters on the steering wheel further accentuates its sporty character.

As with all Infiniti models, there is plenty to amuse and entertain the occupants in either the sedan or coupe, including Bose audio system,
keyless entry and push button ignition. Advanced technical features also include Bluetooth hands-free phone system, and a new touch-screen Infiniti Navigation System.
