2008 Infiniti FX | new car review

has been around for a while now, but still manages to turn heads around on the roads of the Middle East. Part sci-fi and part organic, the FX stands out in a crowd like the proverbial cat among pigeons and one can be sure not to mistake it for anything else.

It does not cater to mass aesthetics but this is a part of its appeal; a menacing grille and a body that is big, with bulging shoulders and taut waistline. The interior is just as dynamic as the exterior with modern technologies on hand to assist the driver. This includes an intelligent key, push button start, similar Bose audio system.

Entertainment is further enhanced with the Infiniti DVD mobile entertainment system, which comes as a standard in the Infiniti FX. Rear passengers can enjoy a movie on the road, or play their favourite video game via a 7-inch colour monitor that flips down from the
overhead centre console. Digital-quality audio is available through wireless headphones with a remote control to enhance the luxury
experience.

With a sports car-like performance from its 3.5-litre V6 generating 289 hp and 371 Nm of torque, the FX35 rides on 20-inche wheels that allow you to enjoy its sharp steering response and magnificent brakes.

It is truly a sports car in the rough and tumble world of crossovers’; the FX having tremendous curb appeal.
