The newspapers are
flooded with advertisements pertaining to various Ramadan offers from
the car dealers and we at thought it would
be nice to give our readers a quick roundup on the hottest offers
that’s doing the rounds this season. Here is what the UAE dealers are

Juma Al Majid Est.,
dealers for Hyundai cars and SUV’s in the Emirate is offering upto
AED10000 worth of instant shopping vouchers on purchase of any of
their vehicles as well as free manufacturer warranty upto 100,000

Liberty Automobiles is
offering Cadillac vehicles at a special zero percent down-payment
option on its Escalade SUV and CTS luxury mid-size sports sedan as
part of their Ramadan special scheme. Both vehicles come with ‘lease
to own option’, a complimentary bluetooth car kit and free
registration. Liberty has also bundled a free service and maintenance
for the cars for upto 4 years or 100,000 kilometres.

LibertyAutomobiles, Al
Ghandi Auto and Bin Hamoodah – dealers for General Motors’
Chevrolet brand of passenger cars is back once again this Ramadan
with the ‘Gold Tag Event II’. The offer comprises of a zero percent
interest on purchase of a car for the first year, zero down payment
and deferred payment till 2009.

Volvo dealers in the
Dubai, Trading Enterprises is offering huge savings on its Volvo S60
mid-size premium sedan as part of a Ramadan offer. They are giving
away AED10,000 worth of goodies in the form of sports leather seats,
bi-xenon headlamps and park assist system with the purchase of an S60
2.5T car.

Emirates Motor Company
(EMC), distributors for Mercedes-Benz brand of cars in Abu Dhabi and
Al Ain are offering special rates on bank loans availed for purchase
of their cars during the Holy month of Ramadan. Free insurance, free
registration, zero down payment and deferred installment options are
being offered on B, C, E and ML-Class cars by the dealership.

Al-Futtaim Motors is
pushing its Lexus RX350 premium crossover SUV as well as its Toyota
range of vehicles with Ramadan offers this season. Customers of the
Lexus crossover will be presented with a surprise gift(??) while the
Toyota buyers will be presented with a Ramadan gift voucher worth
AED750 redeemable at selected stores.

Coming to talk of
freebies, Al Habtoor Motors have embarked on a different kind of
promotion for their Mitsubishi range of cars and SUV’s. On purchase
of any vehicle from them, the dealership is giving away free petrol
cards worth AED10,000 every week for upto 4 weeks for 40 lucky
buyers! The offers also includes a free service contract for up to
50,000 kilometres for the cars.

Trading Enterprises
(Honda) is giving away free Toshiba laptops and LCD televisions on
purchase of selected Honda cars this Ramadan. Jeep dealers – Trading
Enterprises in Dubai and Western Motors in Abu Dhabi are also out
with a special scheme for Jeep buyers this Ramadan. They have
advertised special prices on 2008 models bundled with a 3
years/60,000 kilometres service and free registration. Trading
Enterprises (Dodge) has also on offer special bank loan rates for
their SUV’s and crossovers together with a 3 years/60,000 kilometres
service contract.

Arabian Automobiles,
dealers for Nissan in Dubai and Northern Emirates have been running
the ‘Aloha Summer of 40’ campaign even before the start of Ramadan.
The promotion promises 40 free Hawaiian trips and 4 Nissan Tiidas for
winners. They are also offering a 100,00 kilometres or 3 years free
warranty on select models.

The symmetrical
All-Wheel-Drive specialist Subaru is also in the fray with discounts
and freebies on purchase of their cars this festive season. Al Khoory
Automobiles – Subaru dealers in Dubai, is offering free service for
3 years/50,000 kilometres, 2-year road-side assistance, buy-back
guarantee and Subaru privilege card (don’t know what that will
entitle you with?) on purchase of any vehicle under their line-up.

With more offers to come
in the coming days of the Holy month of Ramadan, it seems the season
is quite right to make that down payment (sorry no down payment, only
deferred payment!) for that very set of wheels that you always wanted
to own. And if you have made up your mind on that investment and
decided on your new set of wheels, isn’t it time that you go find
yourself a parking space?
